Letter: Grading the debate, I give Harris a C and Trump a D

I am registered as an independent, but I vote Republican 98% of the time.

My takeaway from Tuesday’s debate is as follows: Kamala Harris had Donald Trump on his heels. She was relentless and Trump handled himself very poorly.

Having said that, I only believe 10% of what Harris said. She has reversed her stance 180 degrees on so many issues trying to make Trump’s stances her own.

The four sentences I was waiting for Trump to say, he never did. All he needed to do was to look straight into the camera and say to the American people: “Do you feel better off than three and half years ago? Do you feel safer? Is crime in check? Is the world safe and at peace?”

He could have continued: “And thanks to Bidenomics, also will be Kamelanomics we are paying more for food, insurance, cars, clothes, etc, etc. “

Grading them Harris gets a C, Trump gets a D.
