Following its 2024 election losses, the Left is beginning to look like a plane with its rudder blown off. It can still fly, but the guys in the cockpit have little or no control over its flight path. I myself think the Left lost its rudder years ago, but have somehow been able to manage along without too much notice (or have they?).
The Left started off with good intentions, but then something went wrong. It’s like the old saying about “give an inch and they’ll take a mile.” I think their single biggest problem is they have no sense of boundaries, they don’t know when to stop. It’s like a doctor who prescribes opiates to a patient after a major surgery, but keeps prescribing it and gets the patient addicted to the painkillers long after the wound has healed resulting in a very unhealthy codependency.
I see a large number of Americans as the patient and the Left as the doctor. However, I see the majority of Americans as a good friend who is trying to force the patient into rehab. What will the doctor do once the patient no longer needs pain meds, indeed, what will the patient do? REAL freedom can be terrifying.
