Londoners are facing travel headaches after a fire alert and an obstruction wreaked havoc on separate Tube lines.
The Hammersmith & City line is currently suspended between Liverpool Street and Barking, while the rest of the line has severe delays.
The Metropolitan Line has severe delays after an earlier fire alert at Dollis Hill.
The Victoria Line is experiencing severe delays due to an earlier obstruction on the track at Vauxhall.
The Jubilee Line has minor delays while Transport for London engineers fix a faulty train at Finchley Road.
Tickets are being accepted on buses while engineers fix the meltdown.
London Underground workers have announced a Tube strike for a week in September set to bring ‘significant disruption’ to the city.
Tube union RMT has announced members will walk out on Friday September 5 over disputes with pay, fatigue management and shift patterns.
The union said: ‘Management’s dismissive approach has fuelled widespread anger and distrust among the workforce, who voted in overwhelming numbers to take strike action.’
Workers on the Docklands Light Railway will also strike in a separate dispute over pay and conditions.
