Multi-Platinum rapper and actor Ludacris will perform at the UCR Alumni Homecoming Concert on Saturday, Nov. 8, on the campus of the University of California, Riverside.
The event is being offered exclusively to UCR alumni and their registered guests with up to four guests per alum. Tickets are priced at $20 per person and sales are final, no refunds or exchanges will be issued per the website. Families attending the broader Homecoming weekend are also welcome to purchase tickets.
In addition to Ludacris, the event’s opening entertainment will be provided by UCR alumnus Rafael Lopez ’07 or better known as DJ Alf Alpha. Alumnus check-in begins at 1:00 p.m., and the concert is scheduled to begin later in the day. The Homecoming celebration will also include interactive booths from college departments, food trucks, bar services, a Ferris wheel and other campus activities.
Ticket registration through the alumni is currently available. Alumni are required to register themselves and their guests online, and ticket availability is subject to early closure once capacity is reached. Parking is free in designated lots with prior vehicle registration by 1:00 p.m. on Nov. 8. Children aged 3 and under do not require a ticket; however, children under 18 must remain with an adult at all times.
The performance continues UCR’s history of attracting major live acts on campus. Ludacris last performed at UCR in a 2014 Spring Splash event, and his return as the headline for the alumni concert reflects the school’s evolving programming for Homecoming.
For questions about ticketing or registration, alumni may contact alumnievents@ucr.edu. Additional event information and updates are available at myadv.ucr.edu
