A SUSPECT has been arrested after a body was found during a search for a missing man.
Officials said they recovered a body when trying to locate Wayne Woodgate, 54, after he went missing from a Kentish town.

Mr. Woodgate was reported missing on Thursday, October 17, after he was last seen entering a van on Goods Station Road, Tunbridge Wells.
In response to the appeal for information issued by Kent Police, detectives have been conducting extensive searches in the area.
On Wednesday, police attended a rural location in Peasmarsh, East Sussex, where a body was located.
A 59-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
Although formal identification has yet to be confirmed, authorities have informed Mr. Woodgate’s family about the development.
Detectives investigating his disappearance have now escalated their efforts to a murder inquiry.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Kimber has appealed to the public for assistance, specifically requesting dashcam footage from motorists who traveled on the A268 between Peasmarsh and Four Oaks.
“We are particularly interested in any footage recorded between 5.15pm and 5.45pm on Thursday, 17 October, and from 8.15am to 8.45am on Sunday, 20 October,” he said.
Motorists with relevant footage, as well as those with CCTV or doorbell camera images, are encouraged to upload their evidence via the Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) at MIPP Portal.
Additionally, anyone with information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact Kent Police at 01622 652006, quoting reference number 46/179489/24.
