Man, 64, fatally stabbed in Near West Side alley

Police are looking for an assailant armed with a knife who fatally attacked a 64-year-old man early Monday on the Near West Side.

The victim was arguing with someone around 7:50 a.m. in an alley in the 2400 block of West Gladys Avenue when he was stabbed multiple times in the body, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The attacked ran away and was not in custody.

Area 4 detectives are investigating.
