Police are looking for a dark-colored SUV after someone inside it opened fire, hitting a man and a woman as they were driving in McKinley Park on the Southwest Side.
Around 9:30 p.m., the 37-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were in a car going north in the 3300 block of South Western Avenue when a dark-colored SUV approached and someone inside opened fire, Chicago police said.
The woman was shot in the back and arm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where she was in critical condition, police said.
The man was shot in the arm and was taken to the same hospital in good condition, officials said.
No one was in custody.
