Detectives are speaking with two persons of interest after a 23-year-old man was fatally stabbed during an argument with a group of people late Wednesday in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
No charges have been announced by police, who are interviewing two persons of interest in the attack, said police spokesperson Kellie Bartoli.
Maximillion Flores, 23, was arguing with a woman he knew who was accompanied by a group of people around 11:20 p.m. in the 4300 of South California Avenue when he was attacked and stabbed with a sharp object, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Flores, who lived in the area where he was killed, was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:29 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
No one was in custody.
Area 1 detectives are investigating.
