A man was critically injured in a shooting in East Garfield Park Saturday morning, according to Chicago police.
A man, 55, was on the sidewalk in the 200 block of North Hamlin Avenue at 2:06 a.m. when he heard a gunshot and realized he had been shot in the left hip, police said. He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition.
No one is in custody.
