A man died after a shooting on Friday on East Colfax Avenue in Aurora, according to the Aurora Police Department.
Officers responded to a shooting near East Colfax Avenue and Peoria Street around 3:30 a.m. Friday and found a man with a gunshot wound, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department. The man was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased, according to the release. His identity has not been publicly released.
