A 62-year-old man died early Sunday after his car crashed into a median in Chatham, Chicago police said.
Officers found a black pick-up truck around 3:30 a.m. that had run into a median in the 8700 block of South Lafayette Avenue. The 62-year-old driving the truck was the sole occupant, according to police.
The man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police did not have additional information on the crash and how it happened.
