A man was fatally shot Monday night in the Altgeld Gardens neighborhood on the Far South Side.
The man, 29, was found on the sidewalk in the 13300 block of South Langley Avenue at 10:25 p.m., Chicago police said.
The unidentified man was shot in the left abdomen and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No arrests were made and Area 2 detectives are investigating.
