A man was shot and killed Friday in a Grand Crossing parking lot, one of 4 fatal victims from the weekend violence across the city.
The 26-year-old was in the 100 block of West 79th Street about 7 p.m. when two gunmen approached him and fired shots, Chicago police said.
The man suffered gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
He was one of 4 people killed and scores wounded over the weekend.
No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
