A 22-year-old man was shot and killed after he was involved in a car crash early Sunday in Humboldt Park, Chicago police said.
The crash happened in the 3800 block of West Chicago Avenue. Another car pulled up around 1:45 a.m., and the driver got out and shot the man several times in the chest, according to police.
The injured man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 7:20 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The gunman fled. No one is in custody, police said.
