A man was killed in a drive-by shooting Thursday afternoon in the South Deering neighborhood on Chicago’s Far South Side.
The man, 21, was outside about 1:20 p.m. in the 9900 block of South Bensley Avenue when a vehicle pulled alongside him and someone inside opened fire, Chicago police said.
He was struck multiple times and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The man had not yet been identified Thursday.
No arrests were made.
