A man was shot and killed in South Lawndale early Saturday, police said.
The man, 36, was in the 2100 block of South Fairfield Avenue around 3:30 a.m. when someone in a gray sedan fired shots, according to Chicago police.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with gunshot wounds to the side and forearm. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The suspect fled the scene. No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.
