A man was killed in a shooting Sunday morning in West Ridge, according to police.
The 29-year-old was sitting in a vehicle about 5 a.m. in the 5800 block of North Mozart Street when a gunman approached and opened fire, Chicago police said.
The man was struck multiple times and taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No arrests have been reported. Area Three detectives are investigating.
