A man was fatally struck by a Red Line train late Monday night in Edgewater on the North Side.
The man, 42, fell on the tracks around 11:35 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Granville Avenue and was hit by the train, Chicago police said.
The unidentified man was dead at the scene, police said.
Area 3 detectives were conducting a death investigation.
