Man found dead inside car outside Asda in Leicester

A man’s body was found in a car of an Asda superstore yesterday morning, with multiple police vehicles called to the scene.
He was reported to be unresponsive, and after emergency services responded, he was pronounced dead.
His cause of death has not been given, and police said a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Shoppers told how a police forensics tent was erected outside the supermarket.
Eddie Conner, who was at the supermarket yesterday, told Leicester Live he saw numerous police cars, a private ambulance and a tow truck.

A spokesperson for Leicester Police said: ‘Shortly after 7.10am on Saturday police were called after a man was found unresponsive in his car in Exploration Drive, Leicester.
‘Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and the man, who is is his 70s, was declared deceased at the scene.
‘There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.’
