HAYWARD — A man was fatally shot Saturday morning not far from Tennyson High School, authorities said.
Authorities were trying to confirm the man’s name. Police have only said so far he was middle-aged and have not said where he lived.
The shooting happened about 2:55 a.m. Saturday in the 27000 block of Manon Avenue.
Officers found the man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police have not said if they have determined a motive for the killing. No arrests have been made.
The killing is the seventh homicide investigated by Hayward police this year.
