A man was found shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in Little Italy on the Near West Side, according to Chicago police
Officers found the 41-year-old about 2:40 p.m. in an apartment in the 700 block of South Carpenter Street, police said in a statement.
He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately known. Area 3 detectives were investigating.
