A 34-year-old man was fatally shot in an alley early Sunday in Woodlawn, Chicago police said.
An unknown person approached the man and shot him several times in the alley around 5:20 a.m. in the 6600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one is in custody, according to police.
