A man was killed in an East Garfield Park shooting Tuesday morning, according to Chicago police.
Jamar A. Griffin, 24, was in the 2900 block of West Harrison Street at 11:06 a.m. when a man approached and fired shots at him, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Griffin was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he later died.
No one is in custody, police said.
