A man was killed in a residential fire early Wednesday in Grand Crossing on the South Side.
Around 2:20 a.m., police and fire officials responded to a fire in the 7100 block of South Rhodes Avenue and the 32-year-old man was pulled from a dwelling, Chicago police said.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Chicago Fire Department were investigating the cause of the fire.
