LAWNDALE — A man was shot to death in a gang-related attack in Lawndale, authorities said Sunday.
The shooting was reported at 11:26 p.m. Saturday and occurred in the 14600 block of Larch Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies were dispatched to the location regarding an “illegal shooting, traffic collision” call, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
“The suspects shot at the victim, who was in a vehicle,” the department said. “The victim in the vehicle traveled northbound … and crashed into the front yard of a house at the 14600 block of Larch Avenue.”
The motorist was pronounced dead at the scene, and two men were last seen on foot walking in an unknown direction, authorities said.
