FREMONT — A “major traffic collision” Tuesday morning left at least one man dead, police said.
The name of the man killed has not yet been released.
The collision happened about 5:07 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Mowry Padre Parkway and Mowry Avenue, police said.
Authorities said the man died at the crash site.
Police have not yet said if there were other injuries or how many vehicles were involved. Authorities also have not yet said if the man killed was in a vehicle or was a pedestrian.
As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, police were still at the scene investigating and were asking people to stay out of the area.
