SAN JOSE — Police were called to Warring Drive and Calmor Avenue in South San Jose early Sunday morning, where a man is barricaded inside an apartment and was throwing items and glass at officers from an apartment window.
According to a San Jose Police Department news release, the suspect allegedly fired at least one shot in the direction of officers. Special operations personnel and tactical negotiators are currently at the location.
Units are currently in the area of Warring Dr and Calmor Av investigating reports of an adult male breaking glass and throwing items from an apartment window. Negotiators are attempting to resolve the situation peacefully, but several streets in the neighborhood remain closed due to police activity.
