REDWOOD CITY – A man suffered serious injuries in a stabbing Wednesday afternoon at the Redwood City Caltrain station, authorities said.
The attack happened just before 5 p.m. on the station platform, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. The victim, identified as a San Mateo resident, was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The sheriff’s office said the stabbing appeared to be an “isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community.”
Deputies were working Wednesday night to identify a suspect.
