A man was critically injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the Garfield Park neighborhood.
The man, 30, was on the street in the 4000 block of West Van Buren Street when an assailant opened fire around 1:55 p.m., Chicago police said.
The man was shot in his neck and left arm was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
No arrests were made.
Area 4 detectives are investigating.
