Man shot dead, 2 stabbed in fight in Humboldt Park

A man was killed and two others wounded in a shooting and stabbing in Humboldt Park on Sunday morning, Chicago police said.

A group of people were in a “physical altercation” in the 3100 block of West Luis Munoz Marin Drive about 11:23 a.m. when shots were fired, police said. A 47-year-old man was shot in the back and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he later died.

Two other men, 42 and 35, were stabbed in the face and taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said. No one is in custody.
