A 45-year-old man died after being shot multiple times, Chicago police said Saturday.
Police responded to a late-night Friday call of a person shot, and found the man unresponsive on a sidewalk at the 3800 block of West Adams in West Garfield Park.
The victim, identified as Carl McDonald, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
There is no one in custody, police said.
