A man was shot to death early Sunday in Lawndale on the West Side.
Johnell Battie, 19, was in the 3500 block of West 12th Place when someone fired shots about 2:10 a.m, Chicago police said.
Battie was struck in the abdomen and leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
No arrests were made.
