A 23-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in West Garfield Park.
The man was in a car about 3:10 p.m. in the 4100 block of West Jackson Boulevard when someone opened fire, striking him in the chest, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one is in custody, and area detectives are investigating.
