A man was wounded in a shooting in South Shore on Monday night, Chicago police said.
The man, 23, was on the sidewalk in the 7700 block of South Kingston Avenue at 6:48 p.m. when he was shot in the head, police said. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
No one is in custody.
