Two men who approached a concealed carry license holder pulled a gun during an argument, sparking a shoot-out that left the 66-year-old man wounded in his leg early Tuesday in Pilsen, police said.
The concealed carry holder saw two men near a parked car around 5:50 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Cullerton Street and an argument broke out, Chicago police said.
The men then pulled out a gun and a shoot-out followed, police said.
The 66-year-old — who has a valid firearm owner’s identification card — was shot in his upper leg and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, officials said.
The two gunmen got into a waiting Lexus sedan and fled in an unknown direction, authorities said.
No one was in custody.
