A man and a woman were found shot dead inside an Encino home during a welfare check on Monday, July 14, authorities said.
Officers made entry into a home in the 4700 block of White Oak Place about 2:30 p.m. and found both the man and woman with gunshots, the spokesperson said.
Los Angeles police had received a call of gunshots several hours earlier, a department spokesperson said.
Both were shot in the head, according to broadcast reports.
The home sits in an upscale neighborhood south of Ventura Boulevard.
