Manhunt after teenage girl sexually assaulted on train to Wrexham

Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board a train from Chester to Wrexham in October have today released this image in connection.At around 10.20am on Wednesday 29 October, a teenage girl was sat in the window seat when a man sat next to her and sexually assaulted her.He also made inappropriate comments towards the teenage girl, and when she asked to move seats, he moved his bag off of his lap implying she should climb over him to leave.Eventually he left, and the girl reported the incident to staff at Wrexham railway station.Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help with their investigation.Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 223 of 29 October.You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police are searching for information after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a man sitting next to her while she was on a train.

Authorities have released an image of a man, who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.

The sexual assault happened at around 10.20am on October 29, according to the British Transport Police.

The teenage girl was sitting in the window seat on a train to Wrexham when a man sat next to her and sexually assaulted her.

He also made inappropriate comments to her, and when she asked to move seats, he only moved his bag, suggesting she had to climb over him to leave.

Eventually, he left, and the girl reported the assault to Wrexham railway station staff.

Anyone who recognises the man who might have information is urged to contact the British Transport Police.

This is not the only recent case of sexual assault on public transport.

On Thursday, November 6, a disabled man was sexually assaulted on a train to Euston station.
