Manhunt for rapist after teenage girl attacked walking home alone through park

Police are searching for a rapist who attacked a teenage girl in Tunbridge Wells.
The victim was sexually assaulted by ‘an unknown man’ in a park near Belgrave Road at 8pm on Saturday.
Police have asked for witnesses to the sex attack to come forward with no arrests made so far in their investigation.
The force said that an unknown man approached the girl as she was walking home alone along Victoria Road near Tunbridge Wells Common.
They walked together towards Mount Ephraim Road, where he allegedly dragged the victim into a park and made threats.

Then he attacked her.
The suspect was described as around 5ft 8in and in his mid-thirties. He has dark hair, worn in a bun, a short beard and a moustache.
He was wearing a blue jacket and was travelling on a bicycle with thick tyres at the time of the incident.
A Kent Police spokesman said: ‘Officers are continuing to pursue several enquiries to establish the full circumstances, including forensic analysis at the scene, checks for CCTV opportunities and extensive house-to-house enquiries.
‘Police remain in the area while investigations are underway.’
