Manhunt launched after disabled passenger sexually assaulted on a train

Police are appealing for information after a disabled man was sexually assaulted on a train.
The passenger was attacked on a service from Liverpool to Euston station in London just after 9pm on Thursday, November 6.
No further details have been given yet about the incident, and the passenger has not been identified due to legal reasons.
The British Transport Police have now issued CCTV images of a man they want to trace after the incident.
They believe he might have information that’s key to the case. The force is also urging any witnesses to get in touch.

The CCTV images show a white, middle-aged man with short, light brown hair.
He is pictured wearing a grey and black jacket with a white stripe across the chest. He had a light grey hoodie on underneath.
He is also seen wearing a black backpack with the branding ‘Nike’ written on the strap.
In a statement in their appeal, the British Transport Police (BTP) said: ‘Do you recognise this man? Detectives investigating the sexual assault of a man on a train to Euston have today released these images in connection.

‘Just after 9pm on Thursday 6 November, a disabled man was sexually assaulted while on a train from Liverpool to Euston railway station.
‘Officers would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that would help their investigation.’
Anyone who recognises the man pictured has been urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 140 of 6 November.
