Taylor Swift is back with her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” and album listening parties are popping off across Southern California. Music stores, cafes and more are hosting Swifties for the big reveal.
This time around, Swift is getting in on the fun by hosting her own release parties by partnering with various movie theater chains across the country, including AMC, Alamo Draft House, Cinemark and Regency for an approximately 89-minute special event—and yes, as any Swiftie will tell you— the event running 89 minutes rather than 90 is important.
What’s being dubbed as the “Official Release Party of a Showgirl” will include the premiere of the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” behind the scenes of said music video, lyric videos and Swift on the big screen talking about songs from her latest album. The event is slated for Oct. 3-5 with various showtimes each day.
Additionally, select Targets across the country are hosting midnight release parties for “The Life of a Showgirl” on Oct. 3, and Southern California is home to quite a few locations that are participating.
Here’s our guide to spots you can celebrate the release of “The Life of a Showgirl.”
