Microsoft Outlook down leaving users unable to send or receive emails

Microsoft Outlook is down for hundreds of users leaving many unable to send and receive emails.

Nearly 800 people have reported outages over the last two hours.

Microsoft 365 said: ‘We’re investigating an issue in Europe where some users may experience delays when sending and receiving email messages.

‘For more details, please look for EX1144276 in the admin center.’

Around 50% of reported issues say there is a problem receiving emails, while another 30% say they cannot be sent.

The remainder reveals there is a problem with server connection.

Users across Europe have taken to social media to vent their frustration.

One account said: ‘We are currently experiencing this problem in Turkey as well. Our email communication has stopped.’
