Noa Argmani was yesterday rescued from Hamas captivity
One of the four Israeli hostages rescued yesterday has been reunited with her terminally-ill mother.
Noa Argamani, 26, was one of the Nova Music Festival revellers snatched by Hamas on October 7, with a clip of her crying out as she was carried away on a motorcycle quickly becoming some of the most widely circulated images from the day’s atrocities.
Yesterday, she was one of four hostages rescued in the course of an Israeli offensive in Gaza, which also saw some 210 Palestinians, an IDF officer and allegedly ‘some’ of the other captives killed in the process.
Her boyfriend, Avinatan Or, reportedly remains in captivity.
Soon after being taken to hospital following the raid on Nuseirat refugee camp yesterday, Argamani was reunited with her father Yakov before being rushed to the Ichilov Medical Centre in Tel Aviv to see her mother Liori.
Liori is currently suffering from terminal cancer, and had for months urged Hamas to free her daughter so that they might at least see each other one last time.

On a call with President Benyamin Netanyahu following her return, Argamani said: ‘I am so happy to be here.’
Speaking with press, her father Yakov said: ‘Today is my birthday, and a gift like this I never believed I would get.’
The other three hostages rescued yesterday were Alog Meir Jan, 22, Andrey Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 41.

Argmani’s release was secured on her father Yakov’s birthday
The IDF claims they were being held at two separate buildings in Neisurat.
The operation to rescue the hostages yesterday saw heavy bombardment and ground operations levelled at the settlement.
Hamas said on Telegram just hours after the rescue was completed that the IDF had unwittingly ‘killed’ an unspecified number of other captives.
It follows after Israel recently confirmed that British citizen Nadav Popplewell was among four hostages killed during an Israeli operation in Khan Younis earlier in April.
