More than 600 flights were delayed at Denver International Airport as a spring storm swept across Colorado on Tuesday.
There were 607 delayed and 12 canceled DIA flights as of 4:30 p.m., according to the flight tracking website Flight Aware.
United Airlines reported the most delayed flights at 213, followed by Southwest with 210 delays and SkyWest with 119.
Runway construction is delaying departing DIA flights by an average of 63 minutes, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Flights headed to Boston, New York City, Las Vegas and Philadelphia and Newark, New Jersey are also delayed because of thunderstorms, FAA officials said.
