A car hit a motorcyclist, killing him early Friday on the outbound Stevenson Expressway in the McKindley Park neighborhood.
The driver was believed to be stopped in the middle lane when he left the motorcycle and was hit by a sedan about 1:55 a.m., state police said.
The biker was taken to an area hospital where they were pronounced dead, officials said.
Southbound lanes were shut down after the crash and reopened just before 6 a.m., according to state police.
No further information was immediately available.
