Motorcyclist killed early Sunday in Englewood hit-and-run

A 54-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed after a car making a U-turn struck him early Sunday in Englewood, Chicago police said.

The motorcyclist was traveling south in the 7400 block of South Halsted Street when a black car made the U-turn and hit him just after midnight, according to police.

The man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where he later died. The car was found abandoned not far from the scene of the crash. No one is in custody, police said.
