A motorcyclist died in a crash on Interstate 580 near Dublin on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The crash happened around 4:23 p.m. on eastbound I-580 east of Eden Canyon Road. The motorcyclist collided with a vehicle, sending him into the left lane, where he was then struck by a truck, according to the California Highway Patrol. His name was not released.
The left two lanes of the highway were closed on Thursday until around 7:33 p.m.
