Police are looking for a motorist in a Fourth of July hit-and-run that left a 7-year-old child “severely injured,” Chicago police said.
The child was struck by a dark SUV, which investigators believe to be a four-door Lincoln Corsair, traveling westbound in the 800 block of East Marquette Road in Woodlawn at 8:51 p.m., police said. The driver fled the scene.
Police ask anyone with information to call (312) 745-4521.
