The massive Bridge fire, which started in the Angeles Forest five days ago, has burned 47,904 acres in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties and still has no containment, officials said.
It was on Tuesday when the raging fire exploded in size, including a surge through the mountain community of Wrightwood. During Tuesday, photos of the Mountain High ski resort quickly emerged and were shared showing flames overtaking the slopes of the famed resort.

But on Wednesday, Mountain High Resorts posted on Facebook and Twitter around 9:30 a.m. that despite the fire racing through the area on Tuesday “all the main lifts and buildings survived with little to no damage.”
Mountain High, located in the San Gabriel Mountains, recently celebrated its 100th anniversary of existence after being founded as Big Pines Recreation Park in 1924, according to a statement on its website. The resort would later become Mountain High in 1949.
Numerous other structures in Wrightwood were affected by the fire, officials said, adding there was report of damage to power infrastructure. However, authorities still don’t know yet how many homes or businesses have been damaged or destroyed.
They will know once it is safe for damage assessment teams go to the areas affected.
