Several people were injured Monday morning in a seven-car crash that temporarily shut down part of U.S. 36 in Westminster, police said.
Westbound U.S. 36 was temporarily closed between Church Ranch Boulevard and 120th Avenue, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The road had fully reopened by 8:30 a.m. Monday.
The Westminster Police Department first posted about the seven-car crash at 8:13 a.m. Monday on X.
Only minor injuries were reported in the crash, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
