My Chemical Romance’s ‘The Black Parade’ will return to Southern California in 2026

The curtain for ‘The Black Parade’ hasn’t completely dropped just yet for My Chemical Romance fans.

The band will be returning to Southern California to continue a celebratory performance of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, at Petco Park in San Diego on Aug. 30, and conclude with three shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Oct. 21, 23, and 24.

Tickets for ‘The Black Parade’ 2026 tour, which includes 17 new live dates across North America, the UK and Europe next year, will go on sale at noon on Friday, Sept. 26, at Ticketmaster.com.

My Chemical Romance teased the announcement of the 2026 tour with a video posted across their social media platforms that showcased the characters and stage production elements of “The Black Parade.” The video features the band members in their black and white military-inspired marching band uniforms and Pepe, the unofficial skeleton mascot of the album.

In July, the band performed for two nights at Dodger Stadium, featuring a theatrical storyline that included the sinister “Grand Immortal Dictator,” a sad clown Pierrot’s murderous vendetta, and songs from across the band’s catalog.

The first part of the Long Live The Black Parade Tour was the band’s first-ever stadium tour. The band had broken up in 2013 after a dozen years, only to be reformed in 2022 for a tour that played five nights at the Kia Forum. In June, My Chemical Romance rereleased their second album, “Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge,” featuring new artwork and four live bonus tracks recorded for BBC Radio 1’s The Lock Up in 2005. The unreleased live tracks featured in the album were “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena,” “The Ghost of You,” and “You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison.”
